I am a cook and work with a lot of large machinery used for cutting and blending etc. One of these days I swear I'm gonna just thrust my hand into the robochopper. I think it's natural to be curious. My doctor calls them "intrusive thoughts" and they really are, sometimes I can not focus because they overwhelm me. I hope you don't suffer my disorder, it really sucks. I mean think about it. The one place you can escape to in complete trust and safety is violated. I mean, if that one safest place is no longer safe, you gotta start asking yourself, "what is?". Are we ever going to be fully protected, especially those of us blessed with huge windows that make up a great majority of a room. kinda scary to think about. yeah, i totally agree about the feeling of security in the home deal. Sometimes i would be holding something in my hand and for a couple of hours i would forget about it while it was still clutched tight in my hand, and when i "come to" and realize its there about 4 hours would have passed by. Weird what your mind can do. and yes, its kinda scary too. But what potential! If we can learn to shut off or slow down or utilize different parts of our brains, we could breathe underwater longer or tap into a 6th sense. and who knows, with the process of technology and advancement of the brain, we just might be able to do that! wow that is a really interesting observation and yes, i may say that i am guilty of doing that too!
